The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their newborn son yesterday.
The little Prince was delivered on Monday 24th April at approximately 11 am as Kensington Palace made the announcement via Twitter.
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.
The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.
The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

After a short wait, the Duke and Duchess appeared out of the hospital with their newborn son. Kate looked absolutely radiant as she appeared holding her baby, wearing a red dress. Many have speculated this was a tribute to Diana when she emerged from the same hospital with Prince Harry.
The name of the newborn Prince has not yet been revealed but if the announcement of Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s names was anything to go by, it should be any day now.
