Just in time for the warm summer months, Ghost has introduced Eclipse, the latest addition to their line of fragrances. The light and flowery perfume is a companion to Ghost’s Dark Night fragrance and has a crescent bottle that mimics the shape of Dark Night’s bottle, as well. But in contrast to the deep, seductive nature of Dark Night, Eclipse’s feminine and fruity scent adds a new dimension to the Ghost collection. Eclipse is the playful, radiant girl-next-door to Dark Night’s sultry personality, and together they make for the perfect day-to-night fragrance experience.
The Ghost Eclipse campaign stars British model Poppy Delevingne (how perfectly does her first name match such a flowery perfume?). So, as the official face of the perfume, what does Poppy think of it? Here’s what she said in an interview:
“It’s got lots of mandarin and orange, but it’s got an amber, musky tone, which is what I really love about it. It’s feminine and floral and it sort of reminds me of sunshiny days and long afternoons on the beach, Ibiza afternoons, running through meadows, that kind of thing. It’s very summery and playful.”
The scent features top notes of sweet bergamot, lemon, apple, mandarin, marigold, blackcurrant and peach; heart notes include freesia, lotus flower and rose on a base of warm amber and musk. You’ll feel free, airy and confident with this sweet and summery fragrance!
Ghost Eclipse launches at Superdrug and The Perfume Shop from May 7 and will be available nationwide starting July 1 at Boots, Debenhams and The Fragrance Shop (£25 for 30ml, £34 for 50ml and £46.50 for 75ml).
