Mac & Wild, a Scottish restaurant in London, will be offering free masterclasses if you eat in the restaurant this February. Their goal is to make you feel as if you’ve stepped into Scotland without ever leaving London.
All of their tastings and masterclasses will be taught by the restaurant founder, Andy Waugh, at the Devonshire Square location. Space is limited, so you’ll want to book your spot soon.
Each day of the week offers something new to try. On Tuesdays, you can learn to make haggis. On Wednesdays, you can learn to prepare venison and pheasants. Thursdays are the day that you can try 3 of the restaurant’s favorite gins and learn about the distilling process. Fridays will be your opportunity to experience the Isle of Jura via Virtual Reality while also trying the area’s whiskeys. All of these classes are offered at 6 and 8pm. On Saturday, you can try the Gin experience at 1pm and the whisky experience at 3pm.
If you’ve been wanting to expand your cooking skills, now is the time!
