You’ve been meaning to try yoga but don’t know where to start? Start with Good Vibes! Join Nahid de Belgeonne, Founder, for a series of FREE yoga classes running throughout the year. The classes are devised for those who want to try yoga but have been too nervous to try. Good Vibes is one of my favourite studios and you’ll get a brilliant intro to yoga or even just to try out a new place to practise, Nahid is a wonderful teacher, so it’s a great offer.
You can sign up for the free class* where you will find out what yoga is, what the benefits are, you will learn techniques and ways to find ease in each pose.
You’ll leave with a simple home practice to start at home. Nahid is passionate about teaching yoga to people who don’t think it is for them and has been teaching bodies for over 12 years.
She says, “it is increasingly clear that we just can’t keep living a life where we are wired and tired and push ourselves to our edges all of the time. As well as releasing muscular tensions in the body, a regular yoga practice has been shown to reduce anxiety, depression and to lower stress levels by lessening the activity of proteins that play a role in inflammation. Reduced inflammation is linked to improved function of the central nervous and immune systems. A more balanced nervous system in turn allows you to make decisions about how you respond to all that life throws at you, from a calmer and more grounded starting point.”
