I spoke to Eve de Rothiacob, founder of Evesome , an independent luxury French brand made and designed in Paris and produced by artisans. Eve created Evesome in 2013 to share her joy, vitality, empathy, colours, comfort, chic – bohemian style, and well-being. Her fabric designs are so wearable and chic, the tweed fabrics accessorize any outfit beautifully I love her clutch bags, they are so gorgeous, she does also make luxurious scarves and cushions for the home.
I spoke to Eve to find out more about her story in the fashion world.

What is your background in fashion?
I’m a PR girl specialized in lifestyle and I had English clients like meli melo and I asked Melissa how she had the idea of her first bag. And she told me that she couldn’t find one that was practical and she really liked. It was the same thing for me with cashmere scarves, I couldn’t find a soft one and in the quality and size that I wanted. And I had health surgery on my right boob so I couldn’t wear heavy bag so I had the idea to make a tweed bag.

How did you decide to work with your fabrics, what do you love about them?
My friends feel in love with my cashmere scarves and my tweed clutches so I decided to launch my own brand Evesome in 2013. I like the style of cashmere colors for winter, more than 160 colors and the fact that the tweeds are haute couture quality and made in France.
What are some of your favourite accessories you have made so far?
The Angele bag, the clutch that you choose, the foamy 100% cashmere 200×60 cm scarf, my tweed kimono and my tweed cushions :). I like all of my accessories. You can’t be good if you don’t like what you do 🙂
What inspires you creatively?
Colors, nature, art exhibition… I like to walk and open my eyes and discover things every day.
Do you think your designs are typically French?
Not particularly, I travelled a lot, I’m a citizen of the world. Most of the people think that I’m not French, because of my name and mostly because I’m open minded But like French women I like quality 🙂 as a fair price.

Who would you most like to see carrying one of your bags?
My friends :), they are my fans and supporters and some nice Instagrammers like Elle Ferguson from Australia.s
What 5 things do you always take out with you in your bag?
My COVID mask, health first ;), my Chanel lipstick, some tissues, my Chloe wallet and my Dior sunglasses… I can’t go out without my sunglasses, I have green eyes and the sun hurts them 🙂
