Tickets for the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the V&A museum are on sale now.
The new exhibition will show the Mexican artist and icon in a new way through her never-before-seen personal belonging.
With everything happening around the world at the moment, it’s the perfect time for the exhibition to launch.
Visitors will be able to see some 200 plus items that until 2004 had been locked away for 50 years. Claire Wilcox, senior curator of fashion at the V&A told Vogue that upon her death in the 50’s, her husband, Diego Rivera, shut her belongings in a room in their home – the Blue House of the outskirts of Mexico City – as a mark of “respect for her as an artist, as a woman and his life companion. He had the foresight and understanding to know how important she was going to be.”
Tickets for the exhibition are available here.
