Whilst the excitement over New York Fashion week may be palpable, with spring summer 2013 feeling just so far away we’re almost more interested to see what the Front Row celebs are wearing now than what the designers are showing for the new season.

And we haven’t been disappointed.
There have been acres and acres of bare leg on show, namely from the long-limbed Dree Hemingway, Kate Bosworth and Olivia Palermo. Style-wise the trend whilst thigh-flaunting seems to be for loose shorts and short flowing skirts paired with a casual jumper or jacket oh and the obligatory pointed stilettos.
Both Rose Byrne at Marc Jacobs and Hailee Steinfeld at Peter Som, opted for more elegant and less leg-baring outfit choices, with 15 year old Hailee sporting a rather gorgeous deep turquoise lace number and Rose a lesson in how to wear clashing coloured prints – namely by accessorizing with nude pumps and a similar toned clutch bag.

Trend setter (and our favourite style inspiration) Olivia Palermo notched up numerous front row appearances, proving why she continually heads up best-dressed lists. At Norisol Ferrari she covered her tiny frame in a long leather bohemian tribal print skirt and tied white shirt, and then the legs came out – at Peter Som she paired the hottest animal print shoes of the season (Valentino) with leopard print short and then plumped for flats whilst donning a monochrome printed mini at Diane Von Furstenberg.

We love this little front row threesome. Erin Wasson and Alexa Chung (who were papped comparing footwear) managed to make their silk and sheer white dresses look as far from angelic as could be, thanks to their mussed-up rock chick hair and Erin’s biker boots. Whilst Christina Ricci donned a super-pretty pastel Pan-Am style dress and pointed stilettos.
But our favourite FROW-er of the New York shows? The always-in-fashion, devastatingly gorgeous, David Beckham who turned up at wife, Victoria Beckham’s critically acclaimed SS13 show (although we have no idea how any one watched the show when DB was sat front row) with baby Harper.
