Fashion blogger, and partner to Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist fame, Garance Doré is more than just a successful blogger and fashion stylist. If you’ve ever happened upon her blog, you’ll know that she is also a talented fashion illustrator with her hand-drawn images scattered across the site.
After several requests from readers wanting to purchase her artwork, the fashion blogger is finally bowing to demand and will be selling her illustrations via her website in just a couple of weeks.
WWD.com reports that Doré, during an appearance at Neiman Marcus, stated “I receive, like, 10 e-mails a day asking where they can buy the illustrations so I think it will be an interesting venture. We want to do an exhibition in New York for the launch so people can see how the illustrations are presented and how good they look when they are printed.” The posters will start at $35 (£22). “I wanted something you can buy for a present and not be too crazy.”
