On Wednesday evening, Kourtney Kardashian wowed in London at the prestigious Edition Hotel for the Manuka Doctor event. She was officially revealed as the brand’s Global Ambassador; after being a huge fan of the brand for many years, and if you’ve ever watched the show to may know already that Kourtney is an advocate of beauty products that use natural ingredients.
The teeny star (measuring just under 5ft) wore super slim fit high-waist trousers with a sexy Bardot style off-the-shoulder top by Erdem and had her makeup applied by one of our favourite celebrity makeup artists, Karin Darnell. So we wanted to share Kourtney’s glamorous makeup look with you and the products that Karin used – which she has revealed all of the juicy details for…
From hints and tips on how to apply loose eyeshadow, to which exact shade of lippy Kourtney wore – have a read of what Karin used:
Karin Darnell interview:
“It was a long day so we decided to retouch with a light base for the party and give Kourtney’s foundation a refresh and cover up any imperfections. Kourtney has been flying and we wanted to keep the skin looking really flesh. To give the skin a glow I applied the Manuka Doctor Brightening Facial Oil on the back of my hand, diffusing it slightly and applying on the cheekbones and nose. I love using the Manuka Doctor Oils as it they’re so multi-purpose, I’ll also use as a highlighter for the cheekbones and to prep the lips”
“For foundation I used Vichy Dermablend Foundtion, mixed with MAC Face & Body for the perfect finish. I applied the Givenchy Prisme Blush, swirling all shades together and brushing onto the cheekbones followed by the Manuka Doctor Gold Dust Firming Serum to highlight.”
“For the eyes we want to keep the look soft but with some subtle definition, I used loose Barry M Dazzle Dusts in browns, cappuccinos and chocolate to define the eyes. To apply I dabbed on the back of my hand to remove the excess and then gently patted on to the eyes rather than blending for an iridescent, opaque finish.”
“I then added lots of black eyeliner and lashings of mascara to complete the eye makeup look. The lips were neutral with a nude lipstick followed with the YSL Volupte Plump 154 Gloss for a subtle shine”
