GET THE LOOK: TERESA PALMER’S RED CARPET HAIR

Last night, gorgeous Hollywood starlet  Teresa Palmer stepped out on the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie, Lights Out. She wore a black asymmetric Michael Kors dress, but what really caught our eye was her wonderful swept back braid with messy ponytail – which was created by TRESemmé Celebrity Stylist John D.

Teresa Palmer’s look was look classic yet cool, something we rather fancy pulling off ourselves. So in the words of the expert himself, John D gives us the low down on which products he used for Teresa’s glam red carpet hair:

HOW TO:

1. Prep clean damp hair by spritzing TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Sea Salt Spray (£3.85) throughout. Use fingers to distribute product evenly, then scrunch hair to help bring out natural texture.
2. Blow dry hair using a diffuser to create a soft bend in the hair.
3. Once dry, pull hair back away from face and French braid hair starting at the top. Continue braiding to the nape of the neck, then fasten with an elastic to create a low ponytail.
4. Define waves in the ponytail by using a flat iron and bending sections into S-waves for added volume.
5. Complete the look and tame flyaways spritz style all over using TRESemmé TRES Two Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray (£3.85).
