Supermodel and queen of all things fashion Gigi Hadid has graced the May 2017 cover of Vogue Netherlands. On the cover Gigi sports her signature dirty-blond tousles that fall behind a red and white striped one-piece swimsuit. The look is finished by a blue denim sports jacket with red accents. Everything about the photo says summer is near.
In Dutch, the words “12 hours in Amsterdam with GIGI” float next to her in the classic Vogue font in white. Vogue Netherlands currently has a snippet of the interview and story up on their website, but those of us who are hungry for more, have to wait until magazines hit the stands on the 13th of April.
It makes sense that Gigi stuns on the cover of Vogue Netherlands, as she herself, is half dutch. Gigi’s mother Yolanda Hadid is from Papendrecht. It’s no wonder where Gigi gets her Scandinavian beauty looks.
Other looks we’ve been able to see so far on Vogue’s website include Gigi reclining in a brown leather chair, wearing a maxi dress thickly striped with different blues and hair up. Another shot is in the same chair and in the same outfit, but from a much different angle where the model is turned away from us but peers back. Serge Leblon was the photographer for this shoot, while makeup was done by Erin Parsons and hair was done by. Needless to say, Gigi looks as stunning as always, and we can’t wait to get our hands on a copy of the May issue.
