It’s not like Lady Gaga to play copycat, but over the last 24 hours the singer appears to have been going through some serious identity crisis. Having spent just a couple of days with Donatella Versace, the singer has morphed from her usual fashion-fearless self to a Versace clone.
Photographed up on a balcony at the Palazzo in Milan, Gaga looked like a Donatella mini me, all ice blonde poker straight hair, super tight sexy dress and oversized shades. And as usual we can trust Lady Gaga not to do things by halves, as she emerged last night in what is without doubt Versace’s most famous creation to date, that safety pin dress as worn by Elizabeth Hurley back in 1994 at the Four Weddings and A Funeral premiere.
Accessorizing the risque outfit with blood red nails, newly brunette locks and gold drop earrings, the real question on everyone’s lips is who wore it best? We’re veering with the Hurley, purely because original is always best, but Gaga somehow manages to pull the look off with surprising aplomb! We’d love to know your thoughts?
