Getting yourself a gym pass or membership is a good way to stay motivated. Good Vibes have taken things one step further and have introduced a 30-day pass and a new workout routine called Multi-Plane. It’s such a good way to motivate yourself because you’re giving yourself a 30-day goal to use your pass, which if you think about it doesn’t sound like a lot, but it’s a much more realistic goal than going for an annual membership.
So what is the Multi-Plane Approach? Well, Good Vibes say that like our diets, the body – and mind – need diversity to achieve the right balance for a healthy lifestyle. According to Good Vibes founder, Nahid de Belgeonne, the key is not to worry too much about aspiring to a certain “physique” but to nourish your might so that it’s energised and not overwhelmed by stress. So the programme focuses on training your body on a variety of disciplines. From Reformer Pilates to Yoga, there are a number of different elements you can throw yourself into so you don’t get bored of one class and keep your body guessing what muscles are working that day.
Nahid says: “We were designed to move. If we programme our bodies to do the same thing over and over again we will never progress. We may become more accomplished in one practice, but we won’t be challenging our body or mind to become more efficient – both from a physical and mental perspective. I truly believe that the Multi-Plane approach, which quite literally translates to working our bodies in a variety of fitness disciplines, is the smartest way to train to stay youthful and most importantly, keep your joints juicy.”
