by Sarah Waldrop

Grace Weller stole the show winning the George Gold Award and Womanswear Accolade at Graduate Fashion Week. Her elaborate embroidery and romantically dark designs impressed judges including Peter Pilotto, Sarah Mower and Fiona Lambert. As a winner of the George Gold Award, Grace receives £10,000 and a paid internship alongside Lambert, vice-president of George at Asda. Grace’s winning designs will also be created into a limited edition collection for the brand.

The Bath Spa University graduate is only 21 years old and already tremendously talented. Grace’s designs are exceptionally eye-catching and nothing but…well…graceful! Her navy lace dresses flow into brightly embroidered red and orange floral patterns. With dreams of being a prolific designer, Grace Weller is well on her way to making that dream happen.
