The upcoming Grammy Awards boasts the usual list of high-profile contenders this year, and a killer list of performances. The Grammy awards will feature a number of duets on the 8th February including Lady Gaga with Tony Bennett, Adam Levine with Gwen Stefani, and Miranda Lambert with Usher. There’s also set to be a number of superstar solo performances including Pharrell Williams, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Eric Church, Madonna, and AC/DC.
Surprisingly, Taylor Swift opted out of performing, choosing to focus only on her upcoming tour. Swift will, however, still be in attendance, after being nominated for three different categories. But we’d have loved a Swift set!
As for the awards themselves, there is no clear winner in any category. Record of the Year, is always a close call.
Record of the Year Nominees:
“Fancy” – Iggy Azalea ft. Charli XCX
“Chandelier” – Sia
“Stay With Me” – Sam Smith
“Shake It Off” – Taylor Swift
“All About That Bass” – Meghan Trainor
The consensus is split all over Twitter, so tune in February 8th to see the 57th Grammy Awards and see who takes the title!
