Gwen Stefani has started 2017 with a bang. The songstress announced her exciting news of a collaboration with makeup brand, Revlon. Stefani will be joining the brand in becoming their latest global ambassador and personally we cannot wait to see what comes of the partnership.
After she brought out her eyeshadow palette with Urban Decay last year, we’ve been even more obsessed by her gorgeous makeup looks.
We know Gwen for her iconic red lip and cat eye but recently she’s been changing things up, stripping back on the lips and using nude colours, while exaggerating the brows so the news of the partnership comes to no surprise.
She recently spoke to People magazine, sharing: “Ever since I was a young girl, I have used makeup as a form of self-expression… I am passionate about makeup and how it can showcase your individuality and creativity. Partnering with an iconic beauty brand such as Revlon felt like a natural fit. I am so excited to continue sharing my love of makeup.”
On the topic of brows, Gwen also spoke to WWD revealing her more recent love for the major brow, saying: “It’s so youthful to have a heavier brow, it makes it look so clean and so retro. If you’re using just powders and things like that you get home and half your eyebrow’s gone and you’re like, ‘Oh well, that’s embarrassing.’”
She has also previously spoken about how she used to do her own makeup on tour as she didn’t like the way makeup artists did her makeup for her.
