This week Harrods revealed their new window displays, and we’re a little transfixed. They’ve collaborated with Disney to bring iconic scenes from the new live-action Cinderella film, which also premiered this week, to mannequin-esque life.
The window displays will be there for a month, along with the opportunity to view the sparkling glass slipper created by Swarovski, and stunning original costumes designed by Academy Award winner Sandy Powell for the film, which feature in the displays.
Six scenes from the film were chosen to feature in the Harrods windows, each making up part of the beloved Cinderella fairytale. A trip alongside the store on Brompton Road will allow you a peep into moments like Cinderella meeting her Fairy Godmother, Lady Tremaine and the wicked step sisters preparing for the ball, their attempt to make the glass slipper fit, Cinderella’s wedding to name just a few.
We’ve already seen the new live-action Cinderella and we thoroughly approve. Make sure to book your cinema tickets, and pop along to Harrods to enhance your Cinderella experience to the max.
