Nowadays the BRIT Awards wouldn’t be the BRIT Awards without a memorable appearance from golden boys of the moment One Direction. Last year they picked up the Global Success Award and this year, rather unsurprisingly, they snatched it again. If their constant train of screaming fans wasn’t enough of a clue that they’d scoop the award again, they’re the first Brit band since the Beatles to take two different albums to number 1 in the US within the same year. That’ll do it!
Miss Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who earlier in 2013 took to the cover of Glamour magazine with the boys, had the pleasure of presenting the award to them. Liam, Zayn and Louis swaggered casually to the stage, followed by a hobbling Niall on crutches, whilst the ever popular Harry Styles was nowhere to be seen. The boys seemed a tad floored by his absence, and hailed him with relief when they spotted him legging it to the stage. Check out the video below.
