The results were fairly astounding, with own brands for the most part outranking those we normally trust more. One phrase from a researcher seemed to stick in my head, long after the trial had been broadcast. He said ‘everyone goes on about getting a healthy glow. The truth is, there is no healthy glow. A ‘healthy glow’ involves exposure to the sun and sun dammage, and there’s nothing healthy about that’. Darn it.
