We all love bundling up under the covers of our homes in the winter, getting cozy next to the fire tucked under a thick plaid blanket with a hot drink in hand. Now that spring is here, the once snuggly blanket has become too heavy and the plaid looks entirely out of place. Spring cleaning shouldn’t just be for the things in your house, but for your house itself as well. That’s why we put together a quick edit of some of the top interior trends that are perfect to freshen up your home for spring.
Get Geometric

Take out your rulers and protractors, because it’s about to get edgy. Not edgy in the sense of studs and leather hammered into your wall, but edgy with sleek and refined geometric shapes that sharpen up your home’s style. The geometric trend is great because you can use as little or as much of this trend as you want. We love simple table decor of geometric vases and terrariums, while some of the more all out options include geometric furniture or painted walls. Our favorite way to style this trend is wall decor. A simple geometric shelf like the one shown above, or those super trendy hanging vases are a great way to freshen up your walls.
Marble & Copper

Two of the biggest home trends at the moment, marble and copper, have combined together form the ultimate fusion of sleekness and refinement, and we could not be more excited. Not just for countertops anymore, marble has made a huge comeback on the interior design front. The silky grays, soft blacks, and welcoming whites of this clean marble has an industrial style we just adore. Bright copper accents are the perfect partner to cool marble, because even though copper has a sleek style as well, the color really warms up the look. One of our favorite ways to encorporate both these trends into our homes are with marble trays, cups, or candles placed next to copper geometric candle holders, clocks, and glasses.
Scrumptious Succulents

Want your home feeling like tranquil, relaxed, and effortlessly stylish with just one item? Succulents are your answer. Just about as easy to take care of as a pet rock, succulents are an adorable and inexpensive way to add some green to your home. Tiny plants like these scattered around the house are ideal for spring because they add a little color without dealing with a large tree in the corner of a room. Succulents are also ideal because you can choose what you put them in. Hand-painted flower pots, plant terrariums, and cute little jars are a fun way to personalize succulents to fit your interior style while still adding a fresh spring touch.
Reclaimed Wood, Reclaimed Home

Bring a bit of the outdoors into your living space with the versatile styles of reclaimed wood. With the ability to transform a room into a variety of styles ranging from modern, to eclectic, reclaimed wood can be the interior design solution you’ve been looking for. Our favorite way to style this trend is through modern looking desks or tables a shown above. For us, it’s just the right amount of exposed wood without feeling like we’re in a log cabin. Going for a more subtle approach? Try a reclaimed wood shelf or art piece. Want to go all out on the reclaimed wood train? We’re obsessed with this huge wooden floor mirror sure to add a rustic touch to any room.
If it’s restyling your entire home, or adding just a few spring touches, these trends are a great way to freshen up your home for the season of renewal.
