Pizza lovers – this is a heads up to let you know that Homeslice Pizza launched their second restaurant at 52 Wells Street in Fitzrovia yesterday (1st September). Have you been down to visit them yet?
Having spent the past two years building on their street food cred at their first site in Covent Garden, this former pop-up is opening just around the corner from our office, which we are obviously pretty pleased about. With toppings like pulled BBQ brisket with pickles or chorizo with corn and coriander, we’re seriously excited / worried for our winter wardrobe!
They have created their Wells Street restaurant to have a unique vibe, combining their vintage tiling and leathers, with exposed brick with concrete and marble finishes for a real refined and relaxed interior. There is a main dining area, a dedicated takeaway space, outdoor seating, cocktail bar plus a counter-top seating looking into the restaurant’s open kitchen.. Wow!
Homeslice’s signature pizza offering will remain the same; with an expanding new menu of their fresh and seasonal 20” pizzas. Available whole if you’re feeling ambitious, or by the slice to eat in/take away. The Wells Street menu starts with their classics, including Margherita and Salami, Rocket & Parmesan, and they’ve jazzed it up with some more unexpected flavours and ingredients such as Goat Shoulder, Red Kale & Sumac Yoghurt and Mushroom, Ricotta, Pumpkin Seed & Chilli.
I don’t know about you but I am so craving some pizza now. Get yourself down to Homeslice to celebrate their grand restaurant opening with them, and fill your bellies up with scrumptious Italian food.
