Iggy Azalea has delighted 90s nostalgic audiences with her latest music video for new single fancy featuring Charli XCX. Iggy steps into the designer shoes of Alicia Silverstone and her character of Cher in the 90s Austen remake Clueless. The thought and detail that had gone into the music video with regards to making it as like the film as it could be is rather astounding. Iggy parades around in the brighter than bright tartan yellow ensemble that Cher favoured in the first few scenes, the accidental slip onto the motorway when her best friend is learning to drive is recreated to perfection, and her sassed-up gym kit brought back to life with flair.
The of-the-moment single may be slightly out of kilter with the 90s rap and ballads that were all the rage at the time, but it is clear that the film must have been a favourite with Iggy Azalea.
