Ahh the fashion collaboration that dreams are made of. . . Isabel Marant for H&M. It was only a matter of time before the Swedish high street store made moves on the insouciant Parisian label.
Oozing that laid-back LA, model-off-duty vibe that Kate Bosworth, Diane Kruger and Alexa Chung do so well, mixed with an air of edgy bohemia and the type of chic reserved for those born dans le Marais, Marant is the go-to label for care-free cotton dresses, Ikat prints, skinny jeans with a twist and anything Coachella-worthy.
Isabel, who founded the eponymous label back in 1994, said of the high-street hook up, ‘I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honour. I aim at creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality.’

We are sure the H&M customers will be enthusiastic about this collection.”
The Isabel Marant for H&M collection will drop both instore and online on 14 November 2013, and is set to be one of the brand’s most popular designer collaborations to date, potentially topping the record-selling Karl Lagerfeld, Marni, Maison Martin Margiela, Stella McCartney, Versace and Sonia Rykiel lines.
