It’s been a long (very long) time coming, but this week J.Crew finally pops its fashion forward flag right in the centre of London’s shopping haven. The brand’s flagship store opens on Regent Street on Friday 8th November, with a smaller shop at Brompton Cross to open later.
This is one takeover that we’re not going to rail against. We have been perusing the US website in awe for years, our eyes keenly trained on the Net A Porter website for any new J. Crew arrivals. Well now, finally, we can sashay through the doors ourselves, ready to touch, feel and try on any of the trend lead pieces we have been eyeing online from our desks during the week.
We Brits can count ourselves lucky, this is the first venture outside of North American territory that J. Crew have made.
J. Crew is famed for treading the line perfectly between current season trends and comfortable wearability. Their ballet flats are a cult favourite and their juxta-positioning of neons and plain grey tone was one emulated by brands up and down our high street. Their latest collection is of their usual lusted-after calibre. Take a look at our favourite pieces below:
From left: Merino Embroidered Lace Sweater £98.00, Bib Necklace Sweater £98.00, Colorblock Funnelneck Coat £398.00, Delphinium Jacquard Sweatshirt £375.00.
J. Crew have also managed to bring together a beautiful collection of jewellery, including a sparkling variety of statement necklaces.
From left: Citron Stone Necklace £150.00, Pear Necklace £150.00, Gem Stack Necklace £98.00.
Here at BATD we are big fans of Lulu Frost, and luckily for us J. Crew share our enthusiasm. Her collection of jewellery can be perused at your leisure here on the J. Crew site, as well as being available to buy in the newly opened store.
