Haven’t you always wanted to feast your eyes on Madonna’s cone corset up close? You know the one – iconic, metallic and so ’90s. Well hold tight because as of next Spring, the symbolic fashion piece will be part of the international exhibition, The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From The Sidewalk To The Catwalk, which heads to London for 2014.
Showing 140+ couture and ready-to-wear pieces from the designer’s personal collection, including famous items worn by the likes of Madonna, Kylie Minogue and Dita Von Teese, there will also be clips from catwalk shows, music videos and films to run alongside the the fabulous femme fatale looks.
“I am super excited that the show is coming to London,” said Gaultier, “If there is one place other than Paris that I should like to live in, it is London.” And we’d be happy to have him.
