Just after Alexander Wang’s wildly successful collection for H&M, we have yet another exciting high street/luxury brand collaboration to look forward to. This February, London-based designer Jean-Pierre Braganza is set to release his eleven-piece capsule collection for River Island. The collection is said to be inspired by the kingfisher bird, and surely will reflect his signature prints, and architectural, yet feminine silhouettes. It will include shirt dresses, bomber jackets, and zip-adorned jeans, with the prices ranging from £35 to £100. Of the collection, Braganza said, “River Island has a distinctively young, cool voice and its girl is confident and a risk taker, as is the Jean-Pierre Braganza woman. Working with the River Island design and buying team has been such a great experience, they rose to every challenge that I presented them with.” The collection is scheduled to hit stores and River Island’s website on February 16.
A sneak peek of two looks to be featured in the collection.
