After a pregnancy that seemed like it lasted FOREVER, Jessica Simpson finally welcomed her baby girl into the world on 1st May.
We’re no strangers to unusual celebrity baby names, but we were somewhat surprised to hear that Simpson and her fiancé, former American football player Eric Johnson, named their baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson or Maxi for short. Maxwell is Eric’s middle name, while Drew is Jess’ mother’s maiden name. This is the first child for Jess and Eric who started dating in May 2010 and were engaged shortly thereafter. The couple is said to be elated with the arrival of baby Maxi.
