Nicole Kidman stars in Jimmy Choo’s new SS14 campaign which takes its inspiration from the concept ‘Nature Unleashed’ and Cubism. Nicole wears the Tamber shoe in one shot whilst holding the python Anna bag. In another she wears the Damsen sandals and in the final shot she holds the Charlize in neon lime matte python whilst wearing the Keane rope sandals.
View the images from the latest Jimmy Choo campaign below, as well as a video version. The campaign was shot by Solve Sundsbo, styled by Ludivine Poiblanc with hair by Shay Ashual and make-up by the renowned Val Garland.
Nicole Kidman said of the shoot ‘I really enjoyed working with Solve, he is very creative but he is decisive and methodical in his direction. It was fun to shoot new and surprising perspectives, it felt a little bit daring dangerous, I loved the minimal styling and how the shoes and bags became like a sensual second skin to me’.
Kidman certainly makes an impression in the glowing images, her shining amber hair falling behind her and her porcelain skin gleaming in stark contrast to the colourful setting surrounding her. It is clear she had no trouble embracing the feel of the project. Sandra Choi, Creative Director at Jimmy Choo said of the actress, ‘I love Nicole Kidman’s openness to embracing a new character and each season she transforms into a new personality that embodies the spirit of the collection. Her poses are striking yet unexpected and her natural beauty is mesmerising. She exudes feminine confidence and there’s a palpable sense of energy to the pictures’.
