Sometimes it can be difficult growing accustomed to the hustle and bustle of London city life. Between the noise and the lack of greenery, sometimes an escape to one of the parks is a necessity. Jo Malone and St Mungos, one of the UK’s leading homelessness charities, has done just that.
According to St Mungo’s Stop the Scandal: an investigation into mental health and rough sleeping, four out of every ten rough sleepers suffer from poor mental health, so the two teamed up as apart of the Putting Down Roots Project to create a place where people could go to recover and reconnect. Enter the Quiet Garden, a place for trainee gardeners to cultivate and grow.
The Quiet Garden is full of winding circular paths and lavender, jasmine, basil and rose—all creating a sense of peace and wellbeing. Iris & Lady Moore Charity Home Candles will be sold for £46, with donations going to the charity available from 6th July. The candle will be available at all Jo Malone London stores.
The Quiet Garden is set to open another London location in Notting Hill on 6th July, but for now you can learn more here.
