Leading man in the heart-felt movie 500 Days of Summer, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is set to star in another romantic comedy hitting theaters 15th November 2013. Instead of working beside Zooey Deschanel, this time, Gordon-Levitt will be chasing the affection of Scarlett Johansson on the big screen.
The award-winning actor plays Jon Martello – a strong, handsome lady-killer. Due to his unfaltering ability to “pull” a different woman every weekend, he is known to his buddies as “Don Jon.” Even with all the variety in his love life, Jon finds incomparable bliss in pornography.
After meeting Barbara Sugarman (Scarlett Johansson) at a popular night club, Jon’s world is turned upside down. He puts his X-rated movie watching habits on the back-burner as his burning desire to sleep with the “most beautiful woman he has ever seen” takes precedent.
Barbara is a wholesome, bright, old-fashioned girl, raised on romanic Hollywood movies. This causes her to have a hard time separating the happily-ever-after endings of the movies from the realities of heartbreak. When not looking at Prince Charming on the television screen, she is busy looking for him in real life.
The dynamic of the unexpected couple makes for a must-see romantic comedy written and directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt himself. Speaking of unexpected – Tony Danza makes an appearance (alongside Julianne Moore) in this highly anticipated Gordon-Levitt debut.
