The clever guys from the uber-cool Portobello Star in Notting Hill have launched their very own classic London Dry Gin called Portobello Road No. 171. The fantastic gin has a really distinct clean flavour which is brought to life with a good tonic (Fever Tree is the best!) and a twist of pink grapefruit.
So passionate are the guys about their gin they have opened their very own Ginstitute (where the Portobello Road No.171 Gin was created) up to visitors, which is located on the top floor of the bar. The tour includes a mini history of the drink, the opportunity to sample, taste and blend 25 different single botanical flavoured distillates to make your own gin and a bottle of the fabulous N0. 171 – £100, bookable via Ginstitute London.
