KATE HUDSON COLLABORATES WITH ANN TAYLOR

March 19, 2014

by Annie Vischer

Kate Hudson for Ann Taylor.
Kate Hudson for Ann Taylor.

Kate Hudson is one of those stars that seems to effortlessly make it into the ‘best dressed’ categories of every discerning publication, every time. How does she do it? Well her killer figure helps. Would anything look bad on her? But you have to admit the girl has taste too. She knows what suits her, she knows what silhouettes to stick to. Her judgement is bang on every time, making her one of the most fashion savvy leading ladies around. It is of little surprise therefore, that she has chosen this year to pave her own path in the designing industry.

She has been the face of the Ann Taylor clothing brand since 2012 and now she looks set to collaborate with the brand once more (her first collaboration was back for the brand’s SS14 line). This latest capsule collection is a sure fire crowd pleaser. A line of little black dresses. Are you excited? We’re excited. Each style is appropriately named with a Hollywood influence. The Best Actress dress is red-carpet-ready, an off the shoulder full length slim fit style. The Romantic by contrast is short and flirty, the perfect lucky little first date dress.

The capsule collection is set to launch in Ann Taylor stores (in the US – darn it!) on 10th April, so it’s not long to wait until we can catch a glimpse of the whole range. Oh the anticipation!
