Charlotte Tilbury is known for dedicating special beauty launches to her A-lister friends and clients, capturing their spirit and encasing it within her luxury makeup products. This time, Charlotte is delving into the world of fragrance.
This time, Charlotte Tilbury has announced the launch of her first debut fragrance, Scent of a Dream, inspired by none other than Kate Moss. The supermodel will be the face for the launch and the influence behind the creation of the scent.
Tilbury told Vogue that Scent of a Dream had elements of fire-tree, amber, and the synthetic compound Hedione, which reacts with the body’s own pheromone to create a unique scent to every wearer.
“This is Kate as you’ve never seen her before. Bewitching, beguiling, and entrancing. Kate on a true soul level, encompasses everything that is ethereal and powerful about this perfume. I have known Kate for 25 years now, and have had so many incredible experiences with her… she gets me, and she gets the scent! She is the ultimate modern day icon, and I knew she would have the aura and the abandon that I needed to communicate the magic of Scent of a Dream!” – CT
Described as a ‘mind-altering fleuretic’, the new fragrance comprises (brace yourself) top notes of lemon, peach, black pepper, saffron, mandarin and bergamot before leading the a heart of fleurotic notes of tuberose, jasmine, frankincense, violet, patchouli, muguet, orange flower, rose oil, tea rose, green ivy and magnolia.
There’s also active pheromone notes of fire tree, iso e super, hedione, ambrosian, precious woods, cistus, amber and castoreum musks for the base. Anyone else DYING to know what this smells like? You’ll be pleased to know that the wait isn’t too long…
The fragrance is available in three size formats: 30ml (£49), 50ml (£68) and 100ml (£96).
