Did you spot Kerry Washington‘s amazing nails at the Oscar Awards on the weekend? We did – and they were pretty fabulous – in fact, recently she’s had a few banging nail designs that have been circling around on Instagram, and there’s a reason for it…
Kerry Washington has officially joined the OPI family for 2016 as their new Creative Ambassador, and will be working to co-design her very own line with OPI.
Kerry is excited to work with the brand, and emphasises the emerging importance of nails within fashion and beauty; “This is going to be a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to testing out new colors on the red carpet. The fun, for me, is that nail lives in the crossover space between fashion and beauty. I love to play with nail color on the red carpet and explore new shades.”
You might expect some deep and romantic shades from this particular collection, as Washington has revealed that her current favorite OPI shades are Lincoln Park After Dark, a deep red-black; Big Apple Red, a bright candy-apple shade; and You Don’t Know Jacques, a grey-taupe colour.
We can’t wait to see what Kerry x OPI has in store for 2016…
