Kiss Cosmetics Colour Switch, the white lipstick.
–

I recently got to try out the Kiss Cosmetics Colour Switch white lipstick. And what a lovely little addition to your makeup bag it is.
It is basically a lipstick that is pure white in colour; making you able to alter any of your existing lipstick colours. Have you ever bought a dark lipstick and then found it just marginally overpowering afterwards? Maybe you wore a lippie for a particular occasion, but now it’s sitting in your drawer? Well applying this product underneath can tone those down and give you a more subtle, and lighter shade.
The Kiss Cosmetics Colour Switch has a soft texture and blends easily, and is really simple to use.
It is a great one for any make up artists that work with pure pigment colour for a little creativity or to mix up colours for the lips. It also makes for the ultimate ombre lip tool!
I like a nude lip; so I am usually adding foundation to my lip colours to brighten them up a bit sometimes, or I add light lip colours to the centre of my lipsticks to lighten them. This lipstick is an ideal option as it doesn’t dry out my lips like a foundation would usually do. Also, as it is pure white (rather than being a nude lip colour) it doesn’t alter the actual pigments of my lipstick, it just lightens the shade.
To use this little product you can apply it as a base, and blending your lipstick over the top creating your new lighter alternative shade.
Another great way to use is to apply after you have put on your lipstick, just into the centre of your lips, creating a soft ombre lip. I have done this here using just a lip liner (Stone from MAC) and the Colour Switch in the middle.
The possibilities are endless, so have some fun with it, an switch up your colours. Here’s a little lipspiration online to get you going. Have fun!

Colour Switch is available to buy online from Kiss Cosmetics and is just £9. One thing I will add is that the brand are 100% cruelty free. Follow them on Instagram @kisscosmeticsuk.
