I was very excited to see the Know range arriving in the UK. It’s already been a Sephora sellout with stats like ‘1 product sells every 2 minutes across the USA.’ Know Bare Brows £18 is a universal four in one brow fix. Taming wax in one side, built in brush and sharpener and a universal brow colour. I’m always a bit afraid of the word universal as I’m such a lover of diversity but in this case the colour is amazing and the texture just the right amount of creamy.
It takes a bit of getting used to, the fact that you’ve got a brush in the middle of the pencil, but once you’ve worked it out it’s so clever. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Know Dark Shadows £15 and it’s a silky complexion enhancer and concealer. It contains light diffusing pigments to soften dark circles and highlight your features. It says it provides medium coverage but actually I would say it provides a very full coverage but it appears very light. You don’t look like you’re wearing concealer. Again it does the clever thing of adapting to suit various skin tones. It comes in Wow with a slight rose undertone and Pizazz with a slight yellow undertone. It’s really a powerful concealer/enhancer and I really liked its texture.
The Know Thin Lips is a lip plumper. It has that old school feel. You put it on and your lips tingle but not for long. Perhaps it’s the Aloe Extract and Vitamin E but it’s not dehydrating in the least, in fact quite the opposite. It’s very mentholated and that seems to make you very pouty because it stimulates blood flow to the lips, while at the same time, advance peptides increase Hyaluronic acid production which results in a fuller looking lip. And this isn’t just cosmetic speak. It’s actual. You can watch your lips grow. It’s also £15 and it’s no surprise that one of these sells every 2 minutes.
These are a new generation of cosmetics. They correct as they go. Each of them are many uses in one. Hard working and aesthetically lovely.
