KOLCHAGOV BARBA AW18 COLLECTION

February 19, 2018

By Shelly Fulks

London Fashion Week is an exciting time for designers, models, and all those who attend the shows.

I attended the Kolchagov Barba show on Friday night and the ME Hotel in the Strand, and let me tell you, the two designers have an Autumn/Winter collection to be excited about.

Svetoslav Kolchagov and Emilio Barba started their brand just after Paris Fashion Week in 2011. They are known for their use of Swarovski crystals, luxe fabrics, and hand woven lace.

Each piece they create hopes to enhance and embrace a woman’s body. As the show got on, I kept finding a new favourite style as the models continued down the runway. They were all unique so as to carry out the idea of accentuating each woman’s best and favourite features.

The models wore teased updos and bold red lips for the show. Their dewy makeup lets the audience focus on the bold colours, materials, and silhouettes of the collection.

Celebrities like Katherine Jenkins, Dannii Minogue, and Katie Piper have already been spotted in Kolchagov Barba, but after a collection like this, I have a feeling we will see more of their designs on the Red Carpet.
