We’ve recently been discussing (and whining about) the seemingly limited London-based options for afro hair styling. so it’s with great joy that we spotted the latest cover of The Oprah Magazine.
Despite the fact that, sadly, Oprah’s wild and wonderful fro is not au natural, we love the fact that she’s letting it all hang out and flagging up the new autumn/winter trend for untamed, real hair. .
The autumn-themed cover shows Oprah dressed in an on-trend pumpkin-orange dress and whilst appropriately nicknamed ‘Wild Thang’ – the 59-year-old inspiration claimed that the 3.5 pound weave was equivalent to ‘carrying around an extra head.’ All in the name of fashion, though!
