The British Film Institute’s London Film Festival is in full swing, bringing loads of Hollywood stars to London for their premiers, and they pulled out all the stops, turning up to the red carpet in jaw-dropping styles. Check out our favorite looks of the week (and some of the festival’s headlining films).
Actors Nicole Kidman (in Armani Privé) and Dev Patel at the Lion premier on Wednesday night. The film follows a five-year old Indian boy who must survive on his own after getting lost on a train before being adopted by an Australian family.
Rosamund Pike (in Givenchy) and Laura Carmichael (in Stella McCartney) at the premier of A United Kingdom that opened the festival on Wednesday night. The film tells the true story of Seretse Khama, future president of Botswana, his marriage to an English woman, and his country’s fight for independence.
Gabrielle Union in (Zuhair Murad) at The Birth of a Nation premiere. Set in the Southern US, the film follows slave preacher Nat Turner (Nate Parker) and his hopes of freeing his fellow slaves.
Amy Adams (in Valentino) at the premier of Arrival, a sci-fi film where her character attempts to communicate with aliens.
