I can already tell you that the new Botanical Shine Hail Oil by Liz Earle is my current hair product obsession, I’m close to being a door to door sales person for it. This hair oil does not behave how you would think an oil would on your hair, it gives volume and makes hair thicker. It also helps cut your drying time by a about a third, so really helps protect your long term hair damage. My hair can’t remember looking and feeling better, you must try this if you have fine hair and see the difference after one use
The always ethical and brilliant, botanical brand, Liz Earle have a new and improved range of hair products that will make your hair perfectly nourished, smooth and left with a brilliant shine, and it is down to one ingredient, called ‘Kalahari melon oil’. It is rich in linoleic acid and omega-6. This new oil is replacing yangu oil, which was the key emollient ingredient in the previous Botanical shine hair conditioners and hair oil.
Yangu oil is no longer a sustainable source so the products have not changed because they wanted to but because they had to. Liz Earle’s Ethnobotanist, James Wong discovered Kalahari melon oil when he heard that the people in Namibia used it to help protect their skin from the harsh environment.
Kalahari melon oil gives the same, if not better performance in the Botanical Shine Haircare range and they are excited that this really is both new and improved.
The new range offers a three step product system. This includes a shampoo to cleanse, a choice of three conditioners (dry or damaged, normal and fine or oily) and lastly a treat for the hair which is a nourishing oil, which is FABULOUS.
Session hairstylist, Johnnie Sapong says ‘These new formulas work incredibly well to give natural softness, shine and manageability like diminishing frizz and fly- aways for all hair types’.
Liz Earle Haircare collection is available from April 2015 on lizearle.com and in store.
