As expected, the Louis Vuitton Fall ’15 RTW fashion show was nothing less than brilliant. Of course the pieces, shoes and handbags were noteworthy. But the location of the show is getting just as much chatter as the clothing.
The Fondation Louis Vuitton, the $135 million building designed by architect Frank Gehry is home to art exhibitions, concerts and many fashion shows. The Louis Vuitton show was held on the same grounds in a set of dome shaped buildings right next to it (built at great expense especially for the show) matching the flow of the already out-there design of the Fondation.
This has been a big week for the Fondation Louis Vuitton. It has held an array of secret concerts by Kanye West and played home to one of fashion month’s biggest (and very important) fashion shows, we can only except more amazing things to come to this beautiful space.
