Today the fashion world is mourning the loss of designer and former model L’Wren Scott. Although the official cause of death has not been determined, she is believed to have taken her own life. Scott, 49, was the longtime girlfriend of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger and was an integral part of the fashion world; her designs were regularly seen on A-list celebrities and and her dresses graced red carpets around the globe.
She was a favorite designer of many, including Madonna, Nicole Kidman, and even U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama. Scott also worked as a stylist and costume designer, working on films including Eyes Wide Shut (1999) and Ocean’s Thirteen (2007).
