MAKE UP FOR EVER’S Artist Rouge Light Lipstick recently became one of my favourites to use. I’d never tried the brand before this, but I was instantly impressed with it.
On a first look at the colours, I was a bit hesitant. The shades are mostly pink, red and purple, not my every day go to colours of lipstick. But when I tried it, I was pleasantly surprised. It went on so smooth and silky and it was the loveliest sheer finish.
The shade I have been using is L500. Once it’s on, it’s very similar to my lip colour but it just gives it a little bit of pop. I really like this in an everyday colour.
These also smell quite old school and a little bit of vanilla. The packaging is super chic. The lid is black and once you open the lipstick you see the chrome part which reads MAKE UP FOR EVER. The lipstick itself is quite heavy, it looks and feels very luxurious.
