Start to type the word Charlotte into Google. And before you finish even writing Char- Charlotte Tilbury‘s name comes up, way before Rampling or any other icon. Her make up line is the hottest right now. After being addicted to her lipsticks and stopped by strangers to ask what I am wearing I found another must have: The brow pencil (£22.50) It is called Brow Lift.
Lifting is what it does.
For some time now I have had brow icons. Think Brooke Shields. And now here she is in a pencil. But if you don’t want to go that dark or voluptuous you can go Grace Kelly or Cara Delevingne.
I have noticed recently that whenever I see a bad photo of my self – which is often in age of the selfies – it is always made worse by a bad brow look or rather a no brow look.
The hair on my head is not lustrous nor is it on my brow or my lashes.
I have never been happy with a scratchy dried up no impact eyebrow pencil. Brow powder is difficult to apply and goes lumpy and brow gel can look too gothic.
The Charlotte Tilbury pencil is soft and lustrous in texture. Nicely pigmented and it goes on smooth and easy, particularly because of it’s unique shape. The revolving pencil comes up in a slim rectangle so you can make for those perfect boxy brows brows. Thick. Geometric.
It comes with a soft brush for grooming and separation and an exquisite highlighter, which blends into the skin in a way that is both subtle and dramatic. The highlighter is my favourite ever. One pencil does so many things it is a must have.
