If you don’t have time to get your nails done before dashing off to the airport, but don’t want to suffer with drab nails through your whole trip, L’Oreal has the solution for you. The beauty company is launching kiosks for airports and malls that dispense its Essie line of nail polishes, much like a vending machine. Any on-the-go gal who wants a quick touch up before she embarks on her journey can use the machine’s touch screen interface to choose between a bottle of polish from 48 shades that will rotate seasonally, as well as eight curated nail looks with a how-to guide.
So far the kiosks have been added to the Oakland International Airport, the JetBlue terminal at New York’s JFK airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and one mall in the United States. Four more kiosks are set to be added to airports and malls across the U.S. this month, with 12 to come by this autumn.
