Monthly magazine Marie Claire unveil a new-look magazine and we love it!
The all new clean cut revamped magazine and website came as part of the magazines plan to increase its scale and “re-affirm its appeal with millennially-minded women”.
Rolling out the new look across print and digital with the October issue, Marie Claire’s new creative director, Phoebe Sings, has added her touch to a more artistic, creative and colourful spread, with a cooler, edgier and more luxurious feel.
Doing the honors of taking front stage for the October issue, is no other than the Princess of pop, Britney Spears.
After conquering Vegas for the past three years, Britney is back! Topping the charts with her album Glory, currently at number 1, the Princess of pop has revealed she’s feeling more comfortable than ever, saying: ‘I moved to Los Angeles when I was very young’ she said, ‘I was so under scrutiny. If a hair was out of place, I’d be so anxious. I would get very anxious about so many things.’
The pop star also opens up about being a mother, saying: ‘Becoming a mother and being with my boys [Jayden, 9, Sean Preston, 10] has made me so much more accepting of myself. I’m their mom, whatever. That has been a really big thing for me over these last few years.’
On the topic of dating, it seems that being one of the biggest artists on the planet, does not make her immune to bad dates – we sympathise with you on this one Brit! She opened up, saying: ‘I had a really bad date, I mean, it was really bad. I’ve been single for ages and had a date with a guy I liked. I was getting anxious, worrying he wouldn’t like me. In the evening I got on the scales and I had lost six pounds. We went to the movies, but I could tell right away it wasn’t working. It was sort of awkward. So after the movie I came home and that was it. It just didn’t work […] He just wasn’t that into me. I liked him. He knew that. But he definitely didn’t feel the same. It happens to everybody. Being famous doesn’t make you any different.’
