We’re always hearing about new beauty ambassadors and faces of cosmetic ranges, but Max Factor have gone and stunned many with their latest leading lady.
They have signed Marilyn Monroe as their ‘global glamour ambassador’. Is that possible? They’re playing on the transformation from plain Jane Norma Jean Mortenson into the screen icon Marilyn Monroe to give their 2015 campaigns a good dose of sparkle.

They have every right to do so really. Monroe used to visit the Max Factor beauty parlour on Hollywood Boulevard in the 1940s, and was a big fan of the brand. They even claim that Max Factor Jr who was president of the company of that time, was responsible for the makeup look she became known for.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen a vintage starlet revival in the aid of beauty advertising. The likes of Marilyn herself and Grace Kelly were brought back to life on the screen as part of the J’Adore Dior television campaign.
We’re intrigued to see how Max Factor will be presenting their renowned ‘global glamour ambassador’ this year.
