After much excitement and deliberation about this special partnership, it has emerged. Oh, it’s a big one.
Get ready for the Max Factor x Star Wars collection.
A collection of limited-edition Max Factor x Star Wars make-up products is due to be released later this year, taking inspiration from the film’s famous characters, and nobody is more happy about this than the beauty brand’s Global Creative Design Director Pat McGrath.
“I watched my first [Star Wars] film as a young girl and, like the rest of the world, was completely blown away. I immediately fell in love with the storyline, the never-before-seen special effects, and the amazing hair, make-up, and wardrobe of Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, Hans Solo, Darth Vader, and all of the other characters. I’ve watched all of the films and I’ve been waiting for years for The Force Awakens,” said McGrath, who has created two looks to celebrate the partnership and to give us a little idea of the make-up to expect. Droid and Stormtrooper, are two of six total looks created by Pat McGrath.

“When I first heard that I was designing the makeup looks for the STAR WARS and Max Factor partnership, I was beyond thrilled! I love any opportunity to experiment with different looks, characters, and colours through makeup. For the STAR WARS campaign, I created six different looks using the limited edition products from the STAR WARS makeup collection. Mystic, Droid, and Jedi were inspired by the light side and Chrome Captain, Stormtrooper, and the Dark Apprentice were inspired by the dark side.” – Pat McGrath.
