It’s official, Michael J. Fox is back to full-time television!
We’ve just heard that the new Michael J. Fox sitcom has been picked up for a full 22-episode run on NBC, sight unseen.
The sitcom, based on Michael J. Fox’s life story, will be written by Sam Laybourne (of Arrested Development fame) and chronicles the life of a father who suffers from ‘an illness’.
Before you write this off as too heavy, it has been confirmed that this will be a comedy series! It’ll be shot single-camera style, like BATD office faves 30 Rock and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Do you remember Michael’s guest spot on the last season of Curb? If that’s anything to go by, this could be a brilliant tongue-in-cheek comedy.
The series will air next Autumn in the states.
