Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian in history, announced his retirement from the pool following the games, but it looks like this swim star has been quick to relocate. . . to the bath tub.
Wearing just a speedo, Phelps has taken on his latest conquest – a Louis Vuitton ad campaign, shot by celebrated fashion photographer, Annie Leibovitz.
Below, Phelps is photographed with Russian gymnast, Larissa Latynina, who maintained the world record for having the most Olympic medals until July 31st, when Phelps surpassed her.
The swimmer has collaborated with Louis Vuitton as part of their Core Values campaign, which features ‘real’ and admirable public figures, as opposed to models. Phelps joins big names Muhammad Ali and Angelina Jolie, who have both starred in the campaign this past year.
